The Nougat of Reus is based on the "Menjar Blanc" and the hazelnut, two characteristic features of the products most closely related to the gastronomy of Reus. The "Menjar Blanc" is a creamy almond milk, to which they have added a touch of cinnamon for the occasion. The other basic ingredient in this new nougat is toasted hazelnut, a dried fruit that has the recognition of DOP Avellana de Reus.
