Torrons Vicens, awarded in the Internationalisation category at the 15th edition of the National Marketing Awards

Torrons Vicens has been awarded the prize for internationalisation at the 15th edition of the National Awards of the Spanish Marketing Association. This award has rewarded its revolutionary brand expansion project.

The opening of our own shops, 61 to date, has allowed us to deseasonalise the sale of nougat thanks to visitors to our country, breaking the seasonality of such a characteristic Christmas product as nougat, turning it into a gastronomic souvenir and exporting our culture and tradition.

We export to more than 80 countries around the world, through our main retailers and our own Torrons Vicens shops in Mexico, the United Arab Emirates and France, where nougat is making inroads and establishing itself as a quality gastronomic product.

We fuse tradition and innovation, with the legacy of the master turron maker Angel Velasco and creating new products, textures and flavours together with internationally renowned chefs such as Albert Adrià and José Andrés, bringing haute cuisine to the world of turron, making it possible to present new, innovative and high quality varieties of turron every year, making turron an exceptional dessert for 365 days of the year.
At Torrons Vicens, we have been pioneers in bringing artisan nougat to large supermarkets, making us the leading brand in Spain.
During his speech, Àngel Velasco, CEO of Torrons Vicens praised the effort and values of the team he leads, and pointed out the importance of exporting and seasonal diversification, with the opening of their own shops open all year round, in the achievement of making turron an internationally valued product, which has earned them this recognition.
