Last Weekend of 10,11 and 12 of October, was held the traditional fair of Agramunt´s nougat and chocolate stone. The objective of the fair this year was to introduce this product in our kitchens on daily basis.
There were several activities that helped our customers understand more how to integrate turrons in their day to day meals, one example was the tasting of snails cooked with Chocolate Jolonch by Chef Miquel Ristol.Turron Vicens, introduced their newest range of products in their line Natura that was created with Chef Albert Adria. Almost 80.000 people will attend this event and will get the chance to be the first ones to try out the new tastes of the Natura range, such as , the Cheesecake turron , Rice Milk Turron , Vermouth Turron , Carrot cake Turron and many other flavors. No doubt that the star Turron that will be introduced on Sunday , will be the hit of the day for the people attention the fair , Our Star Turron flavored in Chocolate , Oil and Bread. A true sweet indulgence! Topping all that will be the new innovation of an 8 Meters tall Turron that weights 500 Kgs! This is certainly a fair not to be missed! Once the fair starts, a gastronomic route of Turrons and of Chocolate Stone will be all over Urgel. Many local restaurants will be serving plates that includes chocolate and turrons as their protagonists of the dish.
