Sr. Angel Velasco awarded along with the best pastry chef in the world in the 14th edition of Madrid Fusion 2016.
On January 25th , the Madrid Fusión 2016 was opened, one of the largest food fairs in the world.
This edition has become a tribute to the chefs and confectioners that have
revolutionized the world of sweet, in an act that has been called the Greedy Revolution. It should be noted that within the group of honored Master torronaire Nougat Vicens, Sr. Angel Velasco was awarded for his contribution in the world of nougat, to achieve this sweet and seasonally adjusted by the
innovation. He was accompanied on stage by Albert Adrià, chef and best baker in the world in 2015, Paco Torreblanca, Martin Berasategui,
George Rose Celler de Can Roca, Oriol Balaguer, Jordi Butrón
Christian Escribá Josep Mª Guerola, Fernando Sáenz and Ricardo Velez.
One of the events held during the inaugural day was Cooking with
Nougats, where chefs Kiko Moya and Andrew Genestra entertained the audience and presented deserts and plates done with nougat Vicens.
The fair will remain open until Wednesday 27, an important date on an
international level, which continues to set the global agenda and culinary
a benchmark of current and future trends. Nougat
